Job Description

A renowned Construction corporation who has operations across North America has an immediate opening for experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanics to work out of their shop in Monroe, NC as a Shop Foreman.

This position requires frequent travel across the country assisting with on-going projects and developments, Mechanics can expect to be travelling 50% of the time. Working in both the Shop and Field, the Heavy Equipment Technician will oversee a team of junior technicians with repairs to Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems, Diesel Engine servicing and Preventative Maintenance work to a large fleet of Construction Equipment including Rock Drills, Excavators, Pumps, Cranes, Trench Cutters, Skid Steers etc.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Experience performing service and repairs to a variety of construction equipment
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Ability to travel
  • Own tools and valid driver's license

 

Successful Mechanics and Apprentices will be subject to a pre-employment background checks

 

Compensation

$70K - $90K/year, based on previous training and experience. Benefits Available After 90 Days (Prescription, Dental) + Annual Boot & Tool allowance + Field Service Truck to Take Home + Paid Travel Expenses

 

Shifts

Days, 7:00am - 4:30pm (Monday - Friday). Field & Travelling hours may vary, occasional weekend work.
