Bobcat Unveils New Equipment at 2016 World of Concrete

Bobcat will officially unveil three new machines at the 2016 World of Concrete Trade show to be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center February 2-5. For those who can’t wait until then, Bobcat has released technical information on their newest offerings ahead of their official unveiling.

T770
Perfectly suited for truck loading, digging, and heavy lifting, this compact track loader boasts 92 horsepower and 3.4 liter Tier 4 Final engine. Unlike its predecessors, it does not use a diesel particulate filter and instead relies on Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) to reduce emissions. Anticipating operators’ need to orient to this new emissions technology and to ensure proper diesel engine function, Bobcat has included a DEF level indicator and an SCR error icon on the cab’s display panel.

S595
This 500-frame size skid steer loader has many features in common with Bobcat’s M series. With a vertical lift path and operating capacity of 2000 pounds, this loader is sure to please operators as well as maintenance techs. Easy access maintenance features and quick couplers ensure that this machine will spend most of its time in the field and not in the shop. The S595 also comes with two-speed standard travel and a pressurized cabin.

MT85
Bigger in not always better, but sometimes smaller is. The MT85 is perfect for applications where heavier equipment might not be appropriate. With its 25 horsepower engine, Bobcat’s mini track loader has an 850 pound capacity and creates ground pressures of either 3.5 or 4.9 psi depending on the chosen track width, making it an ideal candidate for landscaping or home improvement projects. Operators use an ISO joystick while using on a standard ride-on platform.

Waiting for February
While little kids are waiting for Christmas, commercial concrete industry fans and masons are looking forward to the World of Concrete exposition and trade show. There, they can try out Bobcat’s newest offerings and get a feel for how advances in their industry will affect the way the world is built.
