    Mike

I have a 2002 flat nosed bus, that we use to move materials and tools for my business. We recently replaced the Alternator with a new unit during the process we inadvertently crossed the positive and negative lines on the alternator. Now we have no ignition power at all any help would be appreciated. Thanks Mike

    Hi Mike

I believe we sent a couple of emails back and forth already. Grounding the positive cable to ground is similar to welding and I’m curious if the alternator is still working? Voltage goes the easiest path to ground and that of course will be through the alternator. Fuses and breakers would the first thing to check on the ignition side back tracking from the alternator.
