I have a ’06 Blue Bird Flat Nose Hydraulic Brakes. The Brake lights stay on as if you are stepping on the Brakes. We have tried replacing that Brake switch down on the pedal and that didn’t do it. We check our wiring back at the Lights, checked the wiring underneath. Any other ideas?October 7, 2014 at 8:37 pm #29276
So the problem is strictly electrical and there’s nothing going on mechanically?
Do you have a schematic or the body /VIN numbers?
I found this link to a wiring schematics search.
Not sure how detailed the wiring would be but it’s worth a shot 🙂October 18, 2014 at 7:44 pm #29283
Maybe this bus has a multiplex system and that may be at fault. You should be able to see in the link John has provided.October 19, 2014 at 2:49 am #29285
Thomas started multiplexing in 2006 with their conventionals but not in the pusher buses. I’m not familiar with Bluebirds but curious to see the schematics.October 22, 2014 at 7:36 pm #29286
Is the brake booster motor activating with the key in the off position? do you have a flow switch issue at the booster. I tis common for ours to rust jack the plastic switch till it breaks offOctober 29, 2014 at 10:18 pm #29292
Is threre a stuck relay that operates the lights?
