I can not find any instructions what so ever on how to install the liners into the block on a 8.3. Can anyone point me in the right direction? This is the only part I am having trouble with.
What year is your Cummins? Usually once the liner seals are installed and lubricated the liner pushes in to the block by hand then gently tapped in with a rubber mallet. Then there are liner hold downs that seat it properly so the protrusion can be checked. This ensures a good seal on the head gasket when the head is torqued down.
