With an emphasis on increased fuel economy and power, Kohler has three new engines on the market.
With each engine featuring Kohler’s electronic fuel ignition technology, the new models are the Confidant EFI, the Command Pro EFI CH440, and the Command Pro EFI 999cc.
Each of the engines utilizes Kohler’s unique closed-loop system in which the air/fuel mixtures is continuously monitored by an oxygen sensor in the muffler. The company says the new models will improve fuel economy by about 25 percent over previous models.
Kohler says all three new engines will provide improved power reliability because the sensor system replaces the carburetor and issues related to it, including residue buildup.
Designed for commercial landscapers as well as property owners who expect the performance of a pro-grade engine, Confidant provides a reliable power boost for walk-behind mowers, stand-on mowers, and high-end garden tractors. Its reliable power means a cleaner, more consistent cut.
